Facebook Ad Update - Day 13 (Friday Update)




Campaign reach: 89,385  (number of people who saw the ad)
Frequency: 1.4 (average number of times ad was seen per person)
Social Reach: 448 (people who saw it)
Actions: 61  (actions taken within 24 hrs of seeing the ad)
Clicks: 66
CTR 0.052%  (number of clicks divided by the number of times it was shown on FB)
Spent $29.57 (out of $50)
Price $0.23  (Average cost per click for 1000 impressions)

Pages likes -  7
Cost per like - $4.22


We are roughly 1/2 way through this little experiment and so far I don't know what to think. On one hand, this would have cost me $4 a like, which does not necessarily equal a book sale - of which I wouldn't make $4 on. On the other hand, those 7 people are people I may have never interacted with otherwise and hopefully some of their friends will become interested as well. If nothing changes statistically over the next couple weeks, I should end this ad with a total of 14-15 likes. We shall see.
