Reason for this, among other things, is simplicity. Rather than have to log in two seperate sites to update/write, I can now go to a single location.

Additionally...and this is rather minor but it still bothers me slightly. Adwords rejected, stating that the site was too hard to navigate and not enough content.

I don't know how to make the navigation less difficult. It's a drop down menu across the top of the page. I can however, add to the content by moving the blog over to there. Additionally, it'll add exposure to the authors that are now displayed on the site, my own books and whatever else may come along.

In case you're worried I'm spamming ads all over the website, don't fret. All I had planned to do was add a sidebar next to each of the games. That's it. If i make a little change from that, I'll then turn it into real advertising for my own work. That being said, I refuse to cover the site in ads...

Chronicles of M: book 3 update...and then some

The writing of book 3 is coming along at full stride now. I've gotten some initial feedback on Ammit and so far the style of the writing is going over well. I have a lot of ground to cover with this book in order to complete this first trilogy, so I don't know how long it'll be or how long it'll take to write. Given there was 3 months between books 1 and 2...i dont see it taking more than 6 if it gets long. I also don't see any of my more interesting fans (you know who you are) saying anything about a slightly longer wait that before. Given most authors, I think that's what I am now..., write 1 book a year, I think I'm doing pretty well.

On a side note I decided to spend a small portion of my day working on a side project, completely unrelated to the series. The working title is "Sunnydale" but that may change. All I can say is that it's a "Grindhouse Horror."  For those who are wondering what exactly that means is that it's going to be completely over the top when the action happens and it'll have a gory and, at times, supernatural approach to it....and probably crazy scary. There is no timetable on this one as I'm more interested in completing the Chronicles first trilogy. If I had to give a time it would be sometime after Book 3 comes out and maybe before book 4 does. We shall see.

Chronicles of M - Book 3, Update 1

No official title yet for Book 3. I was thinking "Hot Dog Island" but I'm not sure that really fits. I'm kidding....but not really. :P

Somehow I've managed to plow through 3 chapters already and I think I'm okay with that. I really don't want to get too far into this book because I want to see the initial reviews of Ammit (book 2) first. A lot of the writing changes may not go over as well as I would like and if I utilize them in book 3...then I need to do rewrites....

I don't know how crazy I'll get with the writing of this book, because I have a lot of ground to cover and I really have no idea how long this baby is going to get. It'll probably be roughly the length of 1 and 2 (230ish pages) but there's a good chance it could go much longer. I'll explain why. Book 3 is the closing for the first trilogy (I'm wanting to do 3 trilogies + a few in between to fill time gaps). In order for that to happen I have to (no spoilers here):

1. explain a lot of what is up with Thomas
2. establish an ending that not only finishes the trilogy, but opens the way for the next set and beyond.
3. explain what is up with M
4. at least allude to what will be happening with other major and minor characters of interest.
5. WATCH FOR PLOT HOLES.
6. some other stuff I'm sure I've forgotten at this moment.


There's a lot I could say here, but I don't want to ruin anything for anyone reading the books. Those people who have contacted me via email, twitter and facebook have all stated they like the unexpected twists and turns, so I would rather not ruin that for them.

As a last (but not least) thought, to my readers - thank you for the support and feedback. Your amazon reviews and direct comments are great and helpful. I'm glad you are enjoying this ride as much as I am. I'll do my damnedest to keep up the quality, because there is nothing worse that being several books into a series and it goes to complete crap.
